Operate the Slitter line acording to Specs in a safe mannerSkills:Mechanical Skills - Knowledge of machines, tools and fabricationAbility to read calipers, micrometers, and interpit blue printsAbility to read a tape measureBasic Computer skillsKnowledge of mathematics as it applies to the jobGeneral knowledge of safety practices and protocolsPunctual, neat and reliableAbility to work on numerous tasks at once, safetlyHonest and trustworthyGood communication skills and ability to work with othersMust be able to lift at least 50 Lbs.Responsibilities:Bring proper tools to the job daily (tape measures, steel toe boots, safety glasses)Operate the slitter within the specs and the production schedule as rovided by plant managerOperate the overhead crane for material movementBand Coils as necessaryCleaning and greasing of equipmentAbility to measure your item and verify dimensions and weightInspect work pieces for conformance to specificationsMaintain production expectations and schedulesMeet quality expectationsComplete all required paperworkAttend any necessary training sessions (safety, etc.)Comply with company policies, safety rules and proceduresInspect work for qualityMaintain a clean work areaQualifications:3 years work related experienceSteel / Aluminum industry fabrication experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentSchedule:Mon - Friday6am - 230pmFull Time
