Job Description:

Our client in the electrical equipment and instrument industry is seeking a Coil Winder to join their team. As a Coil Winder, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Job Title: Coil Winder

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay Range: $25.50 per hour + $3.00 shift differential pay for 3rd shift assignment

What's the Job?

  • Wind standard coils for dry type transformers
  • Perform welding and/or brazing to join bus bars to foil
  • Utilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demands
  • Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.
  • Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standards

What's Needed?

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • 6 or more months using soldering/brazing/welding experience OR a completed welding certificate from an accredited institution or equivalent high school trades course
  • Previous Machine Operation experience

What's in it for me?

  • $25.50 per hour + $3.00 shift differential pay for 3rd shift assignment
  • Training will take place on 2nd shift (3:15 PM- 11:45 PM). 3rd shift work will begin on November 14th (10:00 PM- 5:00 AM).
  • This is a 6.5 hour shift with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
