- Setup and operate Operate or tend to cold-form machine, load raw material.
- Start and stop machine, complete quality checks on product.
- Notify supervisor/leader of defects, cleans and maintains forming machines and general work area. Records process data on check-sheets, prints production tag and attaches tag to finished product.
- Perform routine maintenance and determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed, determines the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Repairs machines or systems using the need tools.
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year in cold forming or cold header operations
- Knowledge of basic hand tools, cold-form experience, general math skills, well organized, knowledge of computer functions.
- Micrometers, calipers and gauge inspection
- Hilo Experience required
- Formax, National or Blow Header experience preferred
