Job Title: Collections Advisor
Location: Fort Lauderdale
Salary: $60K and quarterly bonus
Start: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Review daily return reports to determine which customers have missed payments.
- Communicate with customers by text, email, and phone to ensure payments continue timely and without default.
- Work with customers and the Finance Department to provide hardship assistance where permitted.
- Ensure UCC filings are timely to protect company interests.
- Investigate historical data for each debt
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
- Work internally with company paralegals to organize and categorize defaults.
- Meet collections goals on a monthly quota basis.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- Residence in either Broward County or the Greater Richmond, Virginia area
- Incredible worth ethic, a competitive spirit and a desire to win
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office
- Comfortable working with targets
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Skilled in negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
