About the Role

The Collections Lead ensures that the credit and collection policies and procedures of Badger and its customers. Oversee and actively participate in all collections and related activities for Badger. Ensure strict compliance with state and federal credit and collection rules and regulations in all collection practices.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Responsible for collection coverage of assigned portfolio.
  • Monitors portfolio of accounts by following documented collections processes.
  • Drives resolution of disputes, while monitoring trends of disputes.
  • Calculates and monitors customer collection metrics for portfolio and reconcile customer accounts
  • Responsible for all new hire trainings within Collections group and works closely with other internal groups to setup interdepartmental training of new hire.

Qualifications

What You'll Need for Success

  • 5+ years of experience in Collections preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as a lead.
  • Strong reasoning skills; problem solver, high level of curiosity, ability to dive deep, find solutions and deliver results.
  • Solid experience with key financial tools and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) as well as Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
