Under primary direction of the Museum Registrar, and supporting Collections Management Unit staff, work duties can include, but are not limited to: assistance with inventory and storage maintenance; housing and rehousing collections objects; database (TMS Collections) assistance with data entry and clean up; creation, filing and renaming of digital assets; assistance with cataloguing recent acquisitions; and assistance with loan file management and digital archiving. While work assignments will be focused at the primary facility at Peebles Island State Park, particular projects could include limited travel to state historic site and park facilities.The successful candidate will be a clear communicator and able to take instructions and follow provided standards and guidance under prescribed timelines. An interest in museum collections management, registration, and/or collections management software is preferred.
