ECS is seeking a Collections Specialist to work remotely. ECS is seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist to play the lead role in the day-to-day collections' activity for government and commercial clients. Daily tasks in this role are as follows:
- Follow up on all invoice that are past payment terms and document status.
- Monitors and analyzes the operation of systems to ensure the effective delivery of collections information.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve invoicing issues that are resulting in past due payments.
- Prepare monthly collection forecasts, analyze data and communicate trends, identifying initiatives to improve cashflow & DSO.
- Track daily cash received against cash targets.
- Manage and provide effective oversight of collection controls and processes to ensure compliance.
- Identify, report, and manage risk related to delayed payments.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000General Description of Benefits
- 3+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable
- Experience with cash collections forecasting and analysis
- Ability to identify & communicate risk and initiate resolution
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and develop process efficiencies, as needed
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail and accuracy
- HS diploma or GED
