We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collective Staff Trainer II specializing in Mission Essential Task (MET) training to join our team. Position Overview:This role involves spearheading the design, development, and implementation of Mission Essential Task (MET) training programs within military or defense settings. This role focuses on enhancing the collective capabilities and readiness of military units or defense personnel through comprehensive training sessions, exercises, and simulations that simulate real-world scenarios. Responsibilities:
- Functions as the highest-level individual contributor in at least one Warfighting function (WF).
- Utilizes expertise and experience in staff training best practices, industry requirements and information technology disciplines to develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training.
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions, exercises, and simulations at echelons ranging from Battalion to Corps. to simulate real-world scenarios and improve unit performance in critical tasks.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content aligns with operational objectives and addresses current challenges and emerging threats.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and after-action reviews to identify areas for improvement and adaptation.
- Develop training materials, resources, and manuals to support MET training programs.
- Serves in a mentorship or observer/trainer role when requested.
- Stays updated with evolving military tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to integrate into training programs.
- Other duties as within the scope of the program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in military science, defense studies, or related field.
- Eight (8) years' experience in instructional development.
- In-depth knowledge of military operations, tactics, and collective training methodologies.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience with military training and training support
- Completed the Army Command & General Staff College (CGSC) or Intermediate Level Education or equivalent level of military schooling.
- Experience in operations and training requirements at Brigade or higher level (required)
- Successfully served as a former battalion or brigade S3 or XO (required)
- Strong instructional and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Must possess a SECRET clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
