We are seeking a highly qualified Collective Trainer I to oversee training exercises utilizing simulation technologies.Position Overview:As a Collective Trainer I within the Simulation, Exercise, and Training (SET) division, you will be instrumental in conducting and overseeing collective training exercises utilizing simulation technologies. This role requires a strong grasp of military tactics, simulation systems, and the ability to coordinate and execute training scenarios effectively.Responsibilities:
- Functions as an individual contributor in at least one of the six Army Warfighting Functions (WfF).
- Design and develop simulation-based training scenarios tailored to the specific needs in support of Army mission command training.
- Coordinate and execute collective training exercises using simulation systems and technologies at echelons ranging from Battalions to Corps.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure scenarios accurately replicate real world operational environments and challenges.
- Conduct pre-exercise briefings, oversee scenario setup, and lead post-exercise debriefings to evaluate performance and provide comprehensive feedback.
- Utilize simulation systems to create realistic training environments and simulate diverse operations situations.
- Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of simulation equipment and software.
- Stay updated on advancements in simulation technology and incorporate relevant innovations into training programs.
- Gather observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs).
- Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.
- Other duties as within the scope of the program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in simulation, Military Science, Education, or a related field; or equivalent experience required.
- Eight years' experience in instructional development.
- Strong understanding of military tactics, procedures, and collective training methodologies.
- Qualified to operate at least two Army MCIS.
- Eight years' experience with Military training and training completed.
- Must have completed the Army Battle Staff Course.
- Served as a Digital Master Gunner with ASI SC identifier.
- Must possess a SECRET clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
