Accounts Receivable Clerk to our growing team!
A day in the life of an Accounts Receivable Clerk with Universal can look like:Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service or office experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office; MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Current college students that can work full time are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities will include:- Investigating customer discrepancies and working with various contacts to resolve the issues
- Telephone, email, and in person communication with various levels of internal employees from our field offices to executive management
- Understanding and analyzing shipping documents
- Research and problem resolution of customer invoice issues
- Learning and understanding industry requirements and changes
- Interaction with the customer via phone calls, email, web portals, and EDI connections
