The Collector/Treasurer oversees the administration, management, and operations of two municipal finance divisions: the Office of the Collector and the Office of the Treasurer. Responsibilities include billing, collecting, and managing municipal funds.
Responsible for the receipt, recording, custody, management, and disbursement of all municipal funds; and the borrowing, investing, and management of funds; including planning, issuance, and management of all municipal indebtedness both short-term and long-term and tax title accounts.
Special Conditions: must be bondable and must possess or can obtain certifications as a Certified Massachusetts Municipal Treasurer and Certified Massachusetts Municipal Collector within three years.
Starting salary is $69,687.28.
