From time to time, the college will have a need for part-time manual work. The College Auxiliary Worker position earns $15.00 per hour and can work up to 520 hours per calendar year. The hours and days of the week would be determined by the custodial/maintenance department at the time of hire.

This is routine and repetitive manual work calling for the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks. Cleaning tasks are performed according to a well-established procedure, and maintenance tasks are performed under direct supervision or according to specific instructions. Direct supervision is received by an appointed supervisor.

Requirements:

The College Auxiliary Worker is expected to have working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment. Have the ability to follow simple oral and written instructions, be dependable and have a willingness to perform routine cleaning and other manual tasks. Prior custodial experience a plus.

Salary: $15.00 per hour
