**POSITION SUMMARY**
Internship positions are available from May 2022 through August 2022
To provide efficient and effective support services to various departments within Berkeley Electric Cooperative, Inc.
**PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Receive payments by cash, check, and credit cards. Post payments accurately to member's account; issue the proper amount of change back to member. Greet members entering office establishment and direct them to the appropriate member service representative.
All duties as assigned within the parameters of all applicable federal, state, and local labor and safety laws and/or regulations.
All positions are required to participate in weekly group meetings with other interns. May involve special assignments and field trips.
**EDUCATION**
Must be currently enrolled in college.
**KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
Must have good general office and computer skills, be detail oriented, reliable, efficient, conscientious and able to work with minimal supervision. Must have organizational skills.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and in a friendly and personable manner with employees and the general public.
Promptness is extremely important. Must be a team player.
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
General office setting. Mostly sitting at desk. Some lifting, bending, and stooping.
