College Safety and Security Officer (2nd Shift)

Under general supervision, maintains safety, provides safety and security services, enforces College rules and regulations, and protects life and property within the Flagler College community and at off-campus properties owned/leased in whole or in part by the College. Primarily responsible for conducting patrols of the campus on foot, by vehicle or golf cart; responding to general calls for service and preparing reports online of activities. Locks and unlocks buildings based on a pre-determined schedule or when dispatched to do so. Occasionally staffs fixed posts, following established operating procedures to control access to restricted areas on campus. Designated as an Essential Employee, must report to or remain at work during severe weather events or other emergencies, including when a delayed opening or closing of Flagler College has been announced.
