As a body shop technician, you will analyze and assess damaged vehicles. Some tasks involve disassembling/ assembling vehicles and repairing scratches, dents, holes, etc. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
- De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Prepare vehicles for body repair work.
- Notify management of any repairs needed and document any additional parts and labor required to perform a satisfactory repair.
- Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised completion date.
- Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance.
- Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles as needed.
- Must comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Other duties assigned by management
