Our client, a fashion brand, is seeking a Color Development Assistant to join the team temporarily in New York! *Full-time hours.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize all paperwork related to color approval.
- Perform accurate data entry of color specifications, approvals, and changes into systems.
- Utilize Excel to maintain detailed records and generate reports.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely submission and approval of color samples.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve any color-related issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate internally to ensure color accuracy and consistency across product lines.
- Monitor and track deadlines for color submissions and approvals, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations on color trends, approvals, and compliance metrics using Excel and other tools.
- Organizing and maintain Color Lab records
- Help facilitate color review process for color managers.
- Manage email communication with internal and global partners.
- Receiving and opening packages, sorting/filing contents.
Requirements:
- Proficient using Excel & PLM
- Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in apparel design and manufacturing processes.
