In the role of Construction Services Program Manager we'll count on you to:

* Leading the Southeastern Colorado business development and project management for construction services projects, including but not limited to CDOT R2, City of Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Pueblo, and other local agencies.

* Leading the Central Federal Lands business development, project management and execution of task orders for construction services projects.

* Support Construction Services Director of Operations in the overall Colorado Construction Services business development and operations.

* Identify opportunities, develop pursuit and teaming strategies, and lead pursuit and proposal efforts to respond to requests of qualifications and request for proposals.

* Assist to identify, recruit, hire, and staff construction services pursuits and projects.

* Manage, executed, and deliver select projects and task orders.

* Supervise field staff, including annual performance appraisals, and coordinate internally regarding proper staff training.

* Provide operational support to ongoing Colorado and Central Federal Lands engineering and construction projects. Operational support includes performing and documenting project audits, reviewing results of such audits internally and with the client, facilitating staff needs to properly manage assignments. This aspect of the position will require periodic travel to various destinations throughout Front Range Colorado and occasional travel to Central Federal Lands project locations.

This position will be based in HDR's Colorado Springs office location.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

* 25 years of related experience in highway and municipal roadway design and construction

* A minimum 15 years project management experience

* Professional Engineer (PE) license

* Experience with CDOT and Colorado municipal roadway projects

* Experience with Central Federal Lands

* Experience with fostering client and partnering relationships and leading pursuit efforts.

* Experience with preparation of scopes, budgets, and schedules

* Excellent communication, motivation, and organizational skills.

* Time management skills on delivering on multiple projects that overlap.

* Able to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

* A minimum of 10 years experience

* Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role

* Strong communication and listening skills

* Ability to handle multiple assignments

* Good leadership and organizational skills
