Aerotek is hiring for Combilift Operators in the Sandston, VA area!
Do not need to have any prior experience operating a Combilift!! The company will train you directly and you will be paid for hours put towards learning how to operate! No particular HEO experience required to interview next week- only necessity is MINIMUM 2 years' construction experience!
Job Description
Candidates will be on and off the Combilift their entire shift. The lifts have heaters and AC! This lift is a very unique side loading forklift called a Combilift12K Lb Forklift. You will be responsible for offloading flatbed trucks as well as rail cars. Candidates must have strong computer skills as their order pick system is on computer terminals, which are located inside each Combilift. Scan the barcode on the wood, put a new label on the product and assign it to a bin area all from their Combilift.
Must Have:
Forklift sit down or Combilift at least one year of experience
Order Selecting using Scan Gun for at least 2 years or someone comfortable using computer system
Experience with wood products is preferred
Work Environment
Largely an OUTDOOR work environment on a lumber yard. The facility includes both indoor and outdoor storage. Candidates will be required to work in rainy conditions and get out of the lift to do manual labor. The current team consists of 6 Warehouse associates and is looking to grow by 2 more.
Work hours: are Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM.
Pay : $18.50/hr.
