$20,000.00 SIGN-ON to join a well-established and respected practice in Maryland Heights! SSM Health in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages, ensuring a continuum of care that emphasizes wellness and prevention. This role involves diagnosing and treating various ailments, advising on preventive healthcare, and managing chronic diseases.

Why Join Us: There is a significant need for primary care providers in this area. Many practicing providers are no longer accepting new patients due to full panels. With the high demand for primary care and the support of an attached Urgent Care, building a practice should be swift and rewarding.

Clinic Details:

  • Join a vast team of providers
    • (5) DO
    • (2) NP
    • (2) Pediatricians
  • Own dedicated MA
  • Clinic longevity is 15+ years
  • Less than (5) miles from De Paul Hospital
  • Autonomy to work manager to set up clinic structure
  • Call: During the work week you will take your own call; weekend call is 1:8 (rotating among practice colleagues)
  • Connecting SSM Urgent Care with onsite X'Ray
  • Lab facility is two doors down from the clinic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including acute and chronic illness management, preventive care, and health education
  • Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Missouri
  • DEA license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
