SUMMARY
Bering Straits Professional Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Command Center Operator in Washington, DC. The Command Center Operator position will be under the supervision of the Program Manager working with Department of Transportation and Federal Protective Service, and will be responsible for protection of federally owned/leased facilities. Employees hired for this position will initially be brought on as a part time variable officer at an hourly wage of $21.69 per hour until they complete all onboarding and contract required training. Once completed, the employee will be assigned to the site and transitioned to a full time status at an hourly wage of $37.40 per hour. *Average completion time for onboarding and contract required training is roughly between 4 - 6 weeks.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
Must posses or be able to pass all required Proctective Security Officer (PSO) trainings.

Must be able to pass a background check covering the last 10 years and pass a drug screening due to the nature of the position. Must be able to pass a physical agility test; complete required training and pass examination.
