Job Summary:The Commercial Analyst position works directly with the Commercial Group in supporting the commercial and financial activities of the company. The Commercial Analyst reports directly to the Manager of Commercial Finance and Business Operations.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial Group with periodic reporting related to customer requests and requirements.
- Develop financial models and analysis to evaluate business scenarios and support forecasting related to customer specific initiatives.
- Assist in the commercial and financial aspects of the procurement and billing processes.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for commercial operations.
- Monitor and report on budget performance and profitability, working closely with Company budget owners to understand commercial and/or customer impacts.
- Provide insights to support contract negotiations, partnerships, and market expansion efforts.
- Generate presentations, reports, and KPIs while coordinating input from other key stakeholders.
- Analyze sales, financial, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide commercial support and analytical insight to multiple functional groups within Globalstar.
- Prepare materials for special projects, business development and customer and vendor relations efforts.
- Complete other ad-hoc tasks, as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 2-5 years Commercial or Finance experience.
- Experience in investment banking, consulting or corporate finance role preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
- Willingness and ability to work after regularly scheduled hours as needed.
- Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods working on a computer (4 to 8 hours).
- Ability to operate the equipment used for the job.
- Ability to lift 15 pounds at times.
