Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for leading projects and initiatives to meet business objectives to improve overall efficiency and meet market demands. This role involves supporting and optimizing operational workflows, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements to enhance overall productivity. Essential Job Functions Leads commercial banking projects and/or initiatives to meet business objectives. Supports daily operations by troubleshooting issues and providing operational and technical assistance. Assists is in the creation and maintenance of general operating procedures and training materials. Identifies areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborates with cross functional teams to implement best practices and streamline operations. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and supports recommendations to implementation. Performs research and tracking trends and communicates with strategic partners to successfully guide projects and initiatives. Identifies process defects and root causes within the business line and evaluates proposals to determine process effectiveness. Partners with cross functional teams to develop proper lifecycle documentation. Ensures policies and procedures are written within strict compliance with various rules and regulations. Prepares release notes, training, and frequently asked questions that are material for internal users regarding existing and new technology related to lending administration. Creates and updates various quick reference guides and procedures located on Bank OZK platforms. Partners with management in various business groups to ensure policies align with projects or initiatives. Performs routine compliance and quality control reviews. Performs research, reports results for various compliance and audit reviews. Performs review of operational risks and controls and ensures documentation is maintained. Supports end users by responding to inbound requests via email, chat, and phone. Serves as a liaison to OZK Innovation Lab as it relates to technology product development for various technologies. Facilitates discovery, assists in developing business requirements with stakeholders and completes user acceptance testing. Provides operational and process support related to lending technologies. Performs ticket triage for technical staff. Partners with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on future developments and prioritization. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions. Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of banking regulations. Knowledge of project management principles and practices. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including technical writing skills. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Basic Qualifications Bachelor degree or commensurate work experience required. Minimum of two (2) years of lending experience required. Minimum of two (2) years of project management work experience preferred. One (1) or more years in a leadership role, preferred.
