Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator to join their team. They offer competitive wages, great benefits, and a tremendous amount of growth potential. Responsibility Summary for the Construction Estimator:
- Review and analyze construction project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to gain a deep understanding of project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Proficiency with takeoff software (Active Takeoff, which is similar to Planswift and Onscreen).
- Utilize industry-standard estimating methods and tools to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for all aspects of construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, permits, and other related expenses.
- Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings, identifying the quantities of materials required for each phase of the project.
- Solicit quotes and proposals from various vendors and subcontractors to ensure the most competitive pricing and availability of resources.
- Prepare detailed bid packages, cost breakdowns, and other required documentation for submission to clients, ensuring all bid requirements are met.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of estimates with project objectives.
- Diverse commerical experience needed!
