A well respected Commercial General Contractor in Metro Detroit is looking to add a Superintendent to the team to spearhead a full pipeline of local work. They have a 50 year track record building Commercial Office, Light Industrial, Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Education projects doing both renovation and ground-up work. The last 5 years have shown record growth with an outstanding pipeline consisting of both long-standing and new relationships. Role
- Mentor and manage junior field personnell
- Oversee and manage all aspects of ground-up multifamily construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review plans, specifications, and construction documents, providing input to optimize construction efficiency and mitigate potential issues.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors and internal construction teams, including scheduling, procurement, and supervision of subcontractor work to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to monitor progress, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain project integrity and meet quality standards.
- Enforce and ensure strict adherence to all safety standards, protocols, and regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Superintendent experience at a General Contractor
- Successful track record overseeing Commercial projects valued at $20M+
- Experience in Commercial, Light Industrial, Mixed-Use, or Healthcare projects
- Procore experience
- OSHA 30 Certified
