DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Actively seek out and obtain new accounts as outlined in the strategic sales plan.• Research the marketplace to identify target customers.• Recommend further strategy to obtain long term customers for emergency meals and alternatives.• Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on retailers, distributors, catalogers, and e-tailers.• Attend trade shows, buying group events and other related functionsto increase market share.• Visit customers on a regular basis to maintain a strong relationship and introduce new products.• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports via CRM tool, QuickBase.• Submit monthly sales forecast and works with management to insure product availability.• Inform the accounting department of any changes to customers pricing and programs as they occur.• Support Sales and Marketing in the achievement of company goals.• Develop and maintain customer and prospect customer database and files.• Manage Sure Pak, FEMA and other Emergency Services businesses.• Develop and secure business with governmental agencies including police, fire, and emergency services.• Prepare Bid Price proposals and quotes for new projects.• Review customer pricing quarterly and re-price for potential price variances.• Prepare purchase price variance reports as required by customer contracts.• Maintain and review bid standards for commercial products.• Review Cost Analysis Reports for commercial customers. • Communicate verbally and in writing between customers, suppliers,• Assist in the management of commercial product requirements.• Provide and prepare any information needed for commercial customers.• Act as liaison between customers and Sopakco in resolving A/R and Shipment issues.• Prepare RD Sample request forms for new product samples. • Prepare RD Shipment forms for samples for customers. • Work cross functional with internal SOPAKCO team in all aspects on product development. • Attend R/D cuttings of commercial products• Host commercial customers during plant visitsCustomer Service• Confirm Customer Orders• Attend weekly cross functional meetings with SOPAKCO team. • Enter all commercial orders in the Ross System.• Maintain and oversee Accounts Receivable files.• Issue A/R invoices and credit notes in the Ross System. • Post commercial shipments in the Ross System.• Prepare A/R invoices for all none finished goods items.• Reconcile commercial invoicing transactions related to month-end G/L posting.• Set up and maintain all commercial customer data in and Ross Systems.• Prepare and maintain customer open order files.• Reconcile any customer supplied inventory.• Prepare Weekly Production Status Report for commercial customer.• Audit, review and research inconsistencies on Daily Commercial Work order reports.• Coordinate customer request for shipments with logistics.• Prepare Canadian shipping documents:Ø Application for ExportØ Bill of Lading and packing ListØ Canadian Customs InvoiceØ Export CertificatesØ Intent to Import• Prepare and update co-pack manual for commercial products.• Prepare case labels using the applicable software for customer approval.• Coordinate changes to pouch and folders artwork between supplier and customers.• Prepare pouch and case format information for new commercial items.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum of five years sales management, territory or regional experience in consumer products or related field.Application and experience with CRM systems and ERP Systems, i.e., Salesforce, QuickBase, SAP, Ross and the like.Competency in Microsoft Office suite of software.LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals. Ability to author routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate well with customers.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESMust be familiar with current software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite Products, CRM and ERP software packages.Must be familiar with all products lines and customer base.Must be familiar with the data works system and be able to input and retrieve data.
