Underwater Screening Services is a leader in the service and repair of traveling water screens and the inland commercial diving industry. We have immediate full time positions available for experienced inland commercial, divers.

USS is an inland and commercial diving company performing wide range of interesting work; USS works in many states throughout the year.

Job Description

Certified Commercial Diver

Responsibilities include diving inspections, construction, maintenance of water intake equipment, and installing new industrial equipment. This position includes regular travel, weekend work, long hours, and some tasks will require strenuous fieldwork and work during inclement weather. This position is planned as a full-time position but part-time may be considered for well-qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current ADCI Certification Card
• Diploma from an accredited ADCI dive program
• Valid diving physical (fit to dive)
• Valid CPR/First Aid card
• 40 hour OSHA 40 hr. (preferred)
• 1+ year of diving experience
• Experience with diving equipment maintenance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug and background check test
