Cooking Equipment technician

Commercial HVAC/R, Cooking Equipment Technician needed at CDM, Capital District Mechanical. Full Time Tech, Full Time Installer. Vans to bring home. Uniforms supplied by CDM. Sign on Bonus, PTO/Holidays, Health Insurance, 401K. $18.00-$38.00/hr.

An HVAC/ R Commercial Technician, installs and repairs various HVAC/Refrigeration equipment. Their main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.

Including areas for hire: Utica, Vermont, Massachusetts

HVAC Technician Duties And Responsibilities

HVAC Technicians have several responsibilities. Depending on the specifics of a job, their primary duty is to either maintain systems or install new units (service and repair). HVAC/R - Cooking equipment Technicians spend much of their time alternating between these two roles. Other common responsibilities for HVAC Technicians include:

• Removing old systems
• Installing new systems
• Working with all commercial cold and hot side equipment
• Performing routine maintenance and repair
• Communicating with office and technicians
• Meeting local HVAC codes - EPA Certified/Osha Certified
• Valid Drivers License
