Innovative Driven is currently seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join a dynamic and busy law practice in a New Jersey law firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing strategic legal advice, conducting thorough research, and representing clients in various stages of litigation.

In this role, candidates must be able to assist with litigation support, specifically in second-chair tasks including document review, motion drafting, serving discovery.

This role is fulltime and a hybrid position with 3 days in the Roseland, NJ office and 2 days working remotely after 90 days of employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and support senior counsel.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, Orders to Show Cause, and other pleadings.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and appeals.
• Prepare for and attend depositions.
• Effectively communicate with courts, clients, and adversaries.
• Stay abreast of relevant legal developments, industry trends, and best practices to ensure the highest quality of legal representation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bar admission in NJ and NY.
• Minimum 5+ years of sophisticated commercial litigation experience.
