POSITION SUMMARYOversee and manage all aspects of Regional operations in order to ensure maximization of company profits. Provide leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of the Regional activities to ensure accomplishment of objectives. To direct, coordinate and control activities concerned with the extension of commercial, real estate, or consumer credit in accordance with the established policies and procedures to assure maximum volume and profitability for the bank. Maximize profits through establishing business plan, achieving forecasts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Coordinate short and long range financial development and management of the Region. Communicate with corporate office to achieve corporate goals, as well as division goals. Ensure Region is in compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and corporate compliance program, as well as with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain current market share information. Approve all advertising and marketing for Region. Maintain professional affiliations and enhance professional growth and development to keep current in latest issues related to industry. Maintain Region's positive reputation within the community. When necessary, attend hearings for proposed projects and meet with government officials. Maintains confidentiality of customer and bank information. To supervise and frequently review loan policies and procedures to assure consistency and to recommend changes in policy to the Board, necessitated by change in asset mix, risk concentrations and the local, state and national economic environment. To develop and maintain an interest rate structure that is consistent with overall bank management policies and that is both competitive and maximally profitable to the bank. To be personally responsible for making commercial and direct consumer loans. To assure that the proper credit information and loan documentation is maintained and to provide bank management and the Board with sufficient information to enable them to assess the soundness of the loan portfolio. To present loan request and reviews to appropriate committees and provide general council to all loan and credit personnel with respect to credit extensions and lending operations. To service problem loans. To identify and review new laws, court decisions and regulations that affect areas of responsibilities. To coordinate Consumer Compliance Policies and Procedures per the loan policy.To participate actively and aggressively in the solicitation of new business for the bank. To participate actively in the budgeting and planning process of the bank. RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school): Required
  • Experience: 4 plus years of experience
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to learn applicable bank lending software
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 4 years industry experience; Strong knowledge in commercial lending; some accounting, real estate, or marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems, and objectives.
  • Knowledge of fiscal management and human resources management techniques.
  • Skill in planning, organizing, and supervising.
  • Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, problem solving, and decision making.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with management, staff, board of directors, policy-making bodies, and the public.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to produce and implement sales and marketing programs.
  • Skill in developing effective regional policies and procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to prepare comprehensive reports.
