GENERAL FUNCTION: Support role with a wide-ranging knowledge of Commercial Servicing to ensure customer SLAs are met efficiently and accurately.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proficient knowledge of commercial loans, leases, and dealer floor plan processes.
- Achieve productivity and quality metrics expectations within each servicing function performed.
- Demonstrate and appropriately apply a working knowledge of diverse commercial loan portfolio, legal requirements, Fifth Third Bancorp Commercial Loan policies, State and Federal Laws and Regulations.
- Assist with ad hoc requests related to Internal/External Audits, SOX Testing, Issue resolution, RCSA, Business Controls testing, and Remediations.
- Proficient at reviewing legal documentation in order to validate and process requested adjustments.
- Thorough understanding and responsible for compliance of SBA operational policies.
- Assist other commercial servicing teams during peak volume.
- Coordinate all wire initiation for the Servicing department.
- Strong customer service skills with both internal and external customers
- Review operational procedures and methods and recommend changes for improvement with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
- Gain a strong understanding of multiple systems, AFS, ACBS, Real Synergy, ACE, Filenet, Mobius, CRM, Microsoft products.
- Ensure accurate processing of complex transactions on high dollar loans with potential for high level customer and bank impact.
- Serve as a contact for escalated commercial customer research and resolution requests, in addition to handling highly complex customer or operational issues.
- Participate in other projects as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelors or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience within commercial banking or financial industry.
- Demonstrated professional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient with the various Commercial Loan systems; ALSR, GEAC, AFS, Raft, Vector, ACE, Filenet, Mobius, Fifth Third Direct, Adobe, preferred.
- Able to work independently to meet deadlines with a low margin of error.
