They have worked on facilities issues for businesses or multi-family properties previously. Training is provided through our two-week new hire orientation and various collaborations with Trade Specialist leaders who support our field team day to day. Pay and Benefits:A commercial General Maintenance Technician's competitive wage varies depending on a candidate's region and professional experience. Qualified candidates are typically offered between $25 to $33/hr.Company vehicle (take home)Company provided toolsFuel cardOvertime hoursLocal travel (techs end their day at home)Paid drive timeBenefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and moreCompany paid short term disability401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and paid time offShift premiums & emergency on-call pay RequirementsJob Responsibilities:Cover assigned territory of approximately 1 to 2 hour radius from your homePerform general maintenance, including but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, painting, tile work, drywall, door locksCommunicate with support team via phone app to respond to work orders and IVR check-inUtilize trouble-shooting skills to determine necessary repair(s)Prepare job scope-of-work to include time estimates and material requirements for the account management teamExhibit professionalism and good customer service in client and public settingsParticipate in on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends; one week out of every 4 to 6 weeksRequirements2+ years commercial maintenance experience in commercial, multi-family, medical, or municipal settingsFamiliarity with maintenance tools and equipmentGood communication written and verbalCapacity to use smart phones and/or tablets proficientlyComfortable with driving to multiple locations throughout a shiftFlexible availability that can include overtime, evenings, weekends, on-call rotationAbility to pass a background check, 4-panel drug screen (THC waived), and MVR checkPhysical RequirementsStand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up/down stairs on a regular basis; climb up and down ladders up to 35 feet high repeatedly on a shiftWork from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders or man-liftsBend and stretch, lift and move heavy objects (50-60 lbs) many times across a shiftOperate, maintain, and work close proximity to various power equipment, including but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools and automatic machinery Salary Description Up to $80,000 per year
