The Commercial Operations Analyst collaborates with Commercial Management, Systems Project Managers, Developers, Vendors, and Auditors to ensure the successful implementation of systems and vendor products that support Commercial Underwriting and Operational functions. This position is responsible for performing Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), recommending system improvements, and supporting IT solutions. This role also involves troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with vendors to implement products, managing vendor contracts and invoices, and providing audit support.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Perform Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test efforts. •Recommend system improvements based on testing; provide requirement gathering to support IT development.•Troubleshoot and report production issues for internal and external users.•Participate in system and IT meetings to address technical needs for resolution.•Participate in RFP process and quarterly vendor meetings.•Collaborate with vendors to implement products that support departmental functions.•Assist in regular tasks to support vendor service, including manual inspection, order entry and troubleshooting as needed. •Review vendor contracts and reconcile vendor invoices to ensure contract standards are met. •Input vendor contracts/invoices into Vendor Management System for approval and payment.•Work with vendors to resolve billing disputes.•Provide audit support and scope documentation.•Prepare and handle Certified Policy Requests.
