Commercial Order Specialist II

Summary

The Commercial Order Specialist is responsible for processing and documenting customer orders with a focus on commercial aspects. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of order entry, coordinating with various departments to fulfill orders, and providing exceptional customer service. The Commercial Order Specialist will also support commercial responsibilities such as contract review, invoicing, milestone support, and claim management.

Responsibilities

* Process and document customer orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.

* Process and document order documents such as warranty orders, change orders, returned goods orders, order acknowledgements, etc.

* Coordinate with sales, logistics, and other departments to streamline order processing and resolve issues.

* Review and manage commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

* Support invoicing, milestone tracking, and other order fulfillment tasks.

* Maintain updated records of orders, customer interactions, and commercial agreements.

* Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving order-related issues.

* Identify and suggest improvements to the order entry process to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

* Continuously evaluate commercial risks and investigate country-specific regulations.

* Conduct commercial risk analysis, including creditworthiness checks and cash flow analysis.

* Define commercial terms and review contracts.

* Coordinate and supervise consortium agreements.

* Investigate customer inquiries on commercial aspects and manage contract storage.

* Execute commercial aspects of orders with customers and external partners.

* Maintain the Project Management Cockpit tool for commercial milestones and address contract risks.

* Collaborate with project management on customer inquiries.

* Ensure compliance with guidelines regarding risk assessment and performance risks.

* Manage claims and performance together with the project management group.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.

* 3+ years' experience in order entry, commercial, sales support, or a similar role.

* Strong understanding of commercial contracts and invoicing processes.

* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in SAP ERP is recommended.

* Advanced experience in Microsoft Office

* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
