Commercial Plumber at Sunstate Mechanical Services Shift: Monday - Fridays 8am-4:30pm (Some Saturdays dependent on job site) Hourly Rate: $32-45 (DOE) Location: Office Location is 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job does require travelling across the greater Pheonix Area (sites will vary based on the job)Requirements:
- You must be 18 years old.
- You must be eligible to work in the U.S
- You must be able to pass a drug test.
- You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
- For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
- You must have your own tool kit.
- A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
- Able to lift up to 30lbs.
Job Duties: As you might expect, plumbing and customer service is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you'll be:
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities.
- Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.
- Unclogging stopped up sinks and fixing pipes that don't allow water to flow freely, in addition to possibly working on or with Hot Water Heaters.
- Effectively communicate with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed.
- This position will primarily be with construction with the ability to move into the service department.
- Responsible for teaching apprentices.
- Additional duties as required
