Position: Commercial Real Estate/Corporate Associate (would consider a counsel)

Locations: Boston, New York, or Connecticut

A midsize boutique firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate/Corporate Associate (or counsel) with 5–10 years of experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background representing companies, developers, franchisees, investors, and other entities in complex real estate matters, with a focus on commercial leasing, franchise and distribution, and general corporate real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating commercial leases
• Acquisition, disposition, development, and financing of commercial properties
• Representing franchisees, including reviewing and negotiating franchise agreements, renewals, and transfers
• General corporate tasks, including asset acquisitions

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial real estate, corporate law, and franchise matters
• Expertise in commercial leasing, real estate acquisition, and financing
• Experience with franchise agreements and corporate transactions preferred
