We maintain a can do not cant do attitude As a Service Lead you will: Work daily with service manager to diagnose and repair defects in commercial low slope roof assemblies. Be able to locate and determine root causes of roof leaks. Possess the ability to heat weld TPO and PVC membrane In various positions (base flashing, field repairs, and under/around tight areas. Possess the ability to torch Mod-Bit membrane In various positions (base flashing, field repairs, and under/around tight areas. Have an understanding of various roof systems from the deck up Including TPO, PVC, Mod-Bit, and BUR. Have and continuously expand knowledge of common leak causes due to various conditions and/or failures In roof systems, flashings, and sheet metal components. Maintain a SAFE work environment at all times. Adhere to RoofMaster policies and procedures Manage your service truck and ensure it is fully stocked with necessary supplies at all times. Provide service recommendations to service superintendent as needed. Train/coach/develop your own skills as well as your apprentices, including providing recognition and corrective actions. Direct your apprentice(s) regarding work to be completed inspect what you expect. Complete work orders including photos, thorough description of work completed, list all materials and quantities used, and provide any notes for use for additional service calls at location. Understand project scope of work. Understand product specification requirements. Other duties as assigned. Verify compliance with company policies and procedures. Candidate should possess: Valid Texas Drivers license with insurable record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required. Available to travel short distances for a week at a time. Strong skills in time management. Willingness to learn new systems (DataForma). Strong knowledge of commercial roofing preferred. Excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills.
