Exciting VP Opportunity for Service Leader!

This is a rare opportunity for a proven, commercial Service Leader that feels capped and would like the opportunity to advance to the VP level with one of the best known and most respected contractors in Middle Tennessee for nearly 70 years. Qualifications

  • Track record of successfully growing a commercial service department as Service Manager, Service Director or PM in commercial roofing, HVAC, or similar trade.
  • Strong strategic thinker that can effectively analyze data/situations, problem solve, and respond with well-conceived decisions, plans and allocation of resources.
  • Experienced balancing office and field time (Middle Tennessee) to foster strong client, field, and inter-department relationships while managing performance, quality control, safety, and profitability.
  • Highly responsive and effective communicator that connects at all levels through strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Tech savvy by nature and capable of becoming a Dataforma Super-User (field service management software) to leverage the platform to maximize service division performance.

Key Functions

  • Work with the Service Coordinator in promptly responding, qualifying, prioritizing, and assigning service tickets and small projects to the appropriate service techs to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with estimating to ensure detailed safety plans for small projects and conduct site visits for quality control and safety checks.
  • Keep clients continually updated and well-informed through clear and effective communications including well-documented reporting in Dataforma.
  • Assist with strategic client relationship management including teaming up with sales periodically as the technical operations voice.
  • Leverage Datafoma as a Super-User to aid in operational management, reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Lead workforce development and safety initiatives and foster a service culture of excellence.
