At Solar On Earth, our mission is to bring Solar Energy to everyone, everywhere. We work with local Community Solar farms to connect businesses to green energy without expensive equipment or product installations.

We're looking for passionate, money-driven people who want to build a career in Solar Sales to join our team. You will be part of the best solar company in the country. With us, you'll be part of an organization that values teamwork, the individual, and the communities we live and work in.

What You'll Be Doing

Working in communities near you, you will reach out to local businesses to educate them on community solar, help them understand the benefits of green energy, and connect them with local solar farms to help them start receiving the solar credits on their electric bills. With no upfront cost for the customer, this is one sales position you can feel great about!

Responsibilities

  • Contacts prospective clients through direct sales to educate on Community Solar
  • Enter and maintain customer information within our database
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Provide valuable strategy and information to improve sales and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Lead generation, account management, and sales pipeline development.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, with a consultative sales approach.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts, close deals, and upsell additional services or products.
  • Experience selling complex products, services, or solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to explain concepts to decision-makers.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, a plus).
  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and handle time-sensitive deals. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, willing to learn and adopt new sales techniques or tools. Able to travel for client meetings, conferences, or trade shows as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time, as this position is on the road
  • Available to travel outside of Baltimore if needed

COMPENSATION: FIXED BASE SALARY PLUS COMMISSION WITH POTENTIAL TO EARN $85+ IN YOUR FIRST YEAR.
