Here's what winning in this role looks like:

  • Overseeing all jobsite progress and quality control on multiple active projects.
  • Constantly coordinating subcontractors and vendors to maintain the project schedule.
  • Collecting and communicating any on-site information related to RFI's, change orders and owner directed changes and communicating that information to the project manager.
  • Clearly and consistently communicating with all project stakeholders.
  • Documenting project progress through daily and weekly reporting.
  • Adherence to jobsite safety and security requirements and holding all subcontractors to those same high standards.
  • Consistently being the example of how to be a great team member by always desiring to serve others.

Required Talents, Skills & Competencies needed to win:

  • 5+ years of experience as a commercial superintendent.
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Working knowledge of the Florida Building Code.
  • Knowledge of CSI Divisions 2-33
  • The ability to lead, manage and hold accountable all subcontractors on the project.
  • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Must be able to conduct oneself professionally with all superintendents, sub-contractors and clients.

Preferred Talents, Skills & Competencies:

  • A 4-year Bachelor's degree in construction management from an accredited institution or equivalent technical training and/or related experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Autodesk Build.
  • Scheduling with Microsoft Project or equal.
  • Prior experience working in medical facilities.
  • Prior experience working on University of Florida Campus.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification

Compensation:

Salary: $80,000 - $140,000

Benefits:

· Two weeks of paid vacation per year

· One week of paid sick leave per year

Schedule: Full Time

Primary Location: Florida - Gainesville
