13th November, 2024Commercial General Contractor is looking for Superintendents to supervise remodel, conversion and ground up construction for Banking, Retail, Health and other commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a proven track record of being able to finish projects on time, supervising both subcontractors and self-performance labor and delivering quality projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Management of all onsite activities, including all aspects of general operations, compliance, logistics, and reporting.
- Coordinate, schedule and manage construction workers, subcontractors and suppliers in collaboration with the Project Manager
- Order and track tools, materials and equipment
- Schedule and coordinate all building inspections as necessary throughout the project.
- Prepare detailed daily progress reports as well as maintain updated project schedule
- Enforce compliance with safety standards for workers, visitors, and the public and address safety issues as they arise
- Create, submit, and track RFIs, and RFI responses
- Upholding Company quality and cleanliness standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2- 5 years experience in commercial construction as a superintendent
- Proficient reading plans, pulling permits, inspections, and other construction documentation
- Proficient on computers and with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
- Strong leadership, motivational and organizational skills
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
