Join Old Republic Title as a Commercial Title Specialist!

At Old Republic Title, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Title Specialist to join our team in Akron, OH. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in delivering exceptional title services while collaborating with a team that values quality and precision.
This position requires in-office Monday-Friday at our Akron, OH location.
What You'll Do:
As a Commercial Title Specialist, you'll be the backbone of our title process, ensuring every detail is handled with care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Communicate client requirements and translate to complete order creation.
* Retain ownership of title product from initial request to search received.
* Adhere to Old Republic Title's underwriting guidelines to order searches and ancillary regional products needed to maintain compliance.
* Maintain order specific communication with local vendors to meet and exceed service level expectations around timing and pricing.
* Communicate with abstractors, examiners, attorneys, agents, and additional vendors as needed.
* Assist with the preparation of commitments, updates, and additional customer products by typing and organizing search documentation.
* Ability to manage a pipeline and work queue as assigned.
* Consistently meet and exceed all production goals as set forth by management.
* Maintain training material and updated state regulation information.
* Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
* Complies with Company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and completes mandatory company compliance training by prescribed deadlines.
* Ability to work overtime as requested by management.
* Dependable, reliable and punctual attendance is required, which may include in-office attendance or attendance at company, industry or other events that occur outside regular business hours.
* Ability to collaborate and interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person.
* Demonstrates courtesy, flexibility, professionalism and is proactive and responsive to supervisor/manager, co-workers and customer needs and expectations.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
* Ability to type with 90% accuracy.
* Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
* Proficient in property record related sites.
* Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
* Ability to work in fast paced environment while successfully performing under extreme time constraints and meets prescribed deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.
* Ability to act independently with sound judgment and take initiative.
* Written and verbal communications are clear, grammatically correct and business appropriate.
* Actively listens and is mindful of the role body language, gestures and other nonverbal actions can play in communication.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
* Excellent professional written, verbal, listening and communication skills.
* Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company.
* Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Lead by positive example.
