JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a growing Insurance MGA Agency seeking a junior level Commercial Underwriter. This role requires exercising independent judgment and leadership, and you will play a critical role in evaluating and underwriting new business opportunities within the construction sector. You will work collaboratively with agents and brokers to ensure the successful placement of coverage while maintaining our high standards of service and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and underwrite new business insurance submissions, assessing risk and determining appropriate coverage options.
• Quoting Renewals and New Business: Efficiently and accurately quote business based on market availability, adhering to department service standards and company compliance, while meeting annual income goals.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Insurance experience.
• Carrier, Agency and or MGA background within Commercial space.
