Job Description: As a Commis Chef onboard a cruise ship, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, assisting in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our guests. This entry-level position is designed for aspiring chefs who are passionate about the culinary arts and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will support senior chefs in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and adhere to all safety and sanitation standards.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to menu specifications- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies- Work collaboratively with other members of the culinary team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen- Adhere to all company policies and proceduresRequirements:- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certificationsWorking Place: Miami, FL, United States
