OVERVIEW Alera Group is looking for a Commissions Associate to join our Weatlh Services, Insurance and Retirment Plan Services divisions. RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Commissions Associate, you will be part of a growing team dedicated to the support of Alera's Wealth Services, Insurance, and Retirement Plan Services divisions.
- Troubleshoot and research compensation inquiries for Financial Advisors
- Facilitate updates and changes in Xtiva (Sales Performance and Incentive Compensation Tool) such as building new compensation splits and updating advisor payout percentages
- Document management activities including retrieval and processing of 401(k) and Insurance statements as well as uploading documentation to our archive database
- Participate in payroll closure and reporting
- Monitor incoming mail for compensation checks and process accordingly
- Processing of checks and invoices for Financial Planning clients
- Pull ACH bank transactions
- Contribute to additional support activities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate college degree required
- 3 or more years of relevant, hands-on experience in a commission processing role, supporting advisors in the Wealth Management and/or Retirement Plan Services fields
- Proficiency with Xtiva or other leading fee and commission billing software required
