Location: Houston TX Duration: Fulltime Salary Range: 70K to 85K Day to Day: Responsible for applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts and documenting business transactions. Analyze financial information detailing commodity revenue/ expense and related assets/ liabilities. Perform daily / monthly settlements with bilateral counterparties for power, capacity, ancillaries, and associated commercial revenue hedge products with assigned counterparties. Perform daily / monthly settlements of complex structured power, steam, water, and fuel transactions with assigned plant offtake counterparties. Strive to improve processes across client's accounting groups Must Haves: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. Requires 1-3 years' experience in a related field, CPA preferred. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for automation Oil, Gas, Energy, and Power Industry knowledge and experience.
