Job Type Full-time Description Communications Assistant - As the communications assistant, you will assist the marketing team in accomplishing the overall credit union goals by providing communication support to the marketing team. This full-time position is primarily work from home and can be based out of one of our four campuses. Candidate must reside within commuting distance of campus. This position is remote however may need to go into the office to attend mandatory meetings, required training or cultural events as needed.

Requirements The ideal candidate will have background in communications, marketing and/or public relations. The communications assistant will be responsible for writing and proofing marketing content for Vizo Financial including member announcements, regular communications, video scripts, press releases and how-to guides. Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide communication support to the marketing team.
- Draft and edit publication materials and communications copy and assist with executing communications projects and strategies.
- Assist with researching, writing and editing all content for social media plans and email communications.
- Analyze communications and marketing data for open rates, click rates and correlation to website traffic and generate analytics reports.
- Assist in executing marketing strategies and objectives.
Seeking candidates with:
- Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, media, marketing, public relations or related field
- 2+ years of professional communications experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to write copy and external communications
- Ability to analyze communication and social media reports
- Knowledge of AP style
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, manage priorities and balance diverse projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn other systems as needed

- Understanding of marketing principles and strategies and the credit union industry helpful, but not required.
Computer Skills: Word processing, spreadsheets, internet software, email, contact management and database software. Additional computer skills a plus, but not required: - Adobe Creative Suite - HubSpot - Cvent - HTML Salary Range: Starting at $19.00 to $24.00 Per Hour Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Travel requirements Some travel is required with this position. Travel may be out of state and/or require flying. The employee is occasionally required to drive a vehicle to and from a corporate event or credit union. Occasional travel may include five to 10 overnight stays per year. The Benefits:
