About CPC Climate Capital:
CPC Climate Capital is a new subsidiary of The Community Preservation Corporation and will be a subrecipient of Climate United Fund, the recipient of a $6.97 billion grant from the National Clean Investment Fund established by the federal government as part of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). CPC Climate Capital will use its subaward of approximately $2.4 billion to decarbonize multifamily housing by making subordinate debt financing available to owners of multifamily housing nationally. These investments will reduce or eliminate on-site fossil fuels, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Our climate goals will be simultaneously delivered against other critical national priorities, including the creation and preservation of affordable housing, promoting equity and environmental justice, and supporting high-quality jobs.

Role Summary:
The Associate, Communications will support communications and marketing initiatives and brand and messaging consistency both internally and externally for CPC Climate Capital. Reporting to the AVP, Communications, this position will deliver communication and marketing materials to strengthen CPC Climate Capital's standing as a nation-wide leader in multifamily housing decarbonization. The Associate, Communications will assist with strategic planning and the execution of communications and marketing activities and campaigns, including events, webinars, and partner communications.
What You'll do:
* Work closely with the AVP, Communications for CPC Climate Capital to identify communications and marketing opportunities to establish and promote CPC Climate Capital's business, mission, and impact nationwide.
* Lead content creation for CPC Climate Capital's digital channels, including social media, email, and website.
* Assist senior and executive staff with communications activities including but not limited to drafting external emails to customers and partners, building briefing documents and supporting materials (i.e. PowerPoint presentations, run of shows, background materials, presentation support, etc.).
* Work with staff and outside vendors to create and update collateral that promotes CPC Climate Capital's products, social impact, thought leadership, and brand.
* Liaison with Climate United and other partners to ensure message alignment and cross-promotional support.
* Help produce CPC Climate Capital's annual Impact Report, including developing concepts, themes, metrics, and content.
* Assist with event coordination for conferences, panel discussions, on-site project announcements, etc.
* Perform other administrative duties, as required.
Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree with 2 years work experience in communications or marketing or at least 5 years work experience in communications or marketing required.
* Experience or knowledge of multifamily housing or real estate lending preferred but not required.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills and ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines internally and externally.
* Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, as well as attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills required; temperament to communicate across teams and partners in a tactful, pleasant, and professional manner.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), preferred, but not required.
* Proven proficiency in creating social media content for social media required.
* Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as HubSpot for contact list generation, email marketing, etc.
* Prior experience managing social networks through Hootsuite preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of WordPress web management system preferred but not required.
* Occasional travel required.

This is a full-time, hybrid role where you will work from the Manhattan office two - three days a week. The salary range is $60,000 - $75,000, dependent on experience.
