Job Description:Seeking a Senior Manager who is passionate about helping our Associates thrive. The Mars Marketing function is freshly committed to building an engaged, enabled, and inspired community equipped to create iconic brands that are the engine of growth and value creation for Mars.With the recent establishment of the Mars Marketing Leadership Council (MMLC) and the appointment of a Lead CMO, we seek to reestablish a unified, cross-segment Marketing leadership team and marketing community, ensuring transversal strategic initiatives are embedded to increase the capability and effectiveness of Marketing across Mars.This job will enable the effectiveness of the Lead CMO and MMLC as this new Council continuously strives to further its priorities. This job will be key in planning and executing strategic interactions for the MMLC, managing coordination and execution for critical internal and external engagement opportunities, and eliminating friction to deliver a seamless experience for the Lead CMO. The role reports to and will work closely with the VP of Marketing Operations in strategic leadership engagement delivery. The role's scope is global and cross-functional.

What will be your key responsibilities?Communications Leadership
- Lead the development and implementation of a communications strategy to build a cross-Segment Marketing Community of 1,700+ Associates globally. This includes developing and managing goals, objectives, messaging, audiences, and specific tactics. The Associate will also work alongside his/her line manager to oversee an external agency supporting the project.
- Administrate internal, cross-Segment leaders/forums to enable effective participation in Associations with which the Lead CMO plays an elevated role. This may include knowledge management solutions for efficiently leveraging common materials, engaging supporting Associates, capturing key learnings and implementing improvements, and partnering with Segment CA teams.
- Review and edit messaging and preparatory materials for key stakeholders, including aligning key formats for standard communication and presentations.
- As existing communities and communications are in flight, this lead will play an essential role in identifying and coalescing communicators across multiple Segments and geographies. Critical in this will be the lead's ability to influence without authority and rally a diverse group of communicators so that overlapping stakeholders are considered and messaging is well-timed and cohesive.
External and Internal Event Planning
- Strategic design and management of an awards program that promotes priority behaviors and skills and increases visibility and recognition of top talent.
- Manage internal and external events required to deliver on the MMLC agenda. This will include working with external vendors and assembling event-specific agendas that meet the MMLC's strategic priorities.
- Establish and manage multiple internal Associate distribution lists and communication channels.
- Manage the MMLC and Lead CMO calendar to ensure the MMLC and critical stakeholders have time dedicated to the most strategic tasks.
- Support MMLC meeting materials preparation and logistical execution for in-person, hybrid, and virtual interactions.
- Lead the project management and logistical execution of an in-person Marketing Leaders' Summit in 2026.
- Serve as a project team member, including documenting and refining goals, notes, and actions, supporting the Effectiveness team to ensure timely project follow-through.
