COMMUNICATIONS SENIOR COORDINATOR

Job Description:

As a senior coordinator on our communications team, you will be responsible for writing, managing, and coordinating content for an employee audience. This role serves as a communications consultant to several of the firm's shared services functions (such as Compensation and Benefits, Safety, and Internal Operations) and works with leaders of these groups to create and deliver effective communications plans and messages. While you will work with graphic designers on the final products, having an eye for layout and design is helpful.

Responsibilities include:

* Coordinating content and writing for the firm's internal newsletters, intranet, firmwide activities, a variety of HR communications, and other internal communications.

* Researching, interviewing, writing, and editing articles and online content.

* Assist with developing and managing communication strategies that keep our employees in the know and create a two-way flow of information.

* Establishing and meeting deadlines for timely completion of projects.

Knowledge of AP Style and being able to adapt to the Olsson brand are a must. Please supply 2-3 writing samples that reflect your range in employee communications.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our North Kansas City, MO.; Overland Park, KS; Dallas (Plano), TX; or Fort Worth, TX offices or working in a hybrid environment aligned with one of these office locations.

You bring to the team:

* Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications.

* Minimum four years of professional writing experience.

* Significant experience in employee communications.

* Experience working with content management systems

* Strong communication skills.

* Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
