Develops and implements plans, activities, and tactics to support the goals of assigned areas. Coordinates the production of materials and resources through a variety of platforms, including digital and physical mediums.Additional Department Summary: Manages external and internal communications to support the goals of the university and the College of Communication and Information Sciences. Determines content topic. Coordinates with others to obtain information. Writes and edits content for various media platforms including print publications, e-newsletters, media releases, college ads and promotion, and various other media to communicates with external and internal stakeholders. Serves as the project manager on publications and write various content. Integrates communication strategy and activities with other university operations. Reports directly to the Director of Communications.Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and some journalism, public relations, marketing, or communications experience.Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Finalist candidates may be asked to provide a writing sample and portfolio.Preferred Qualifications: Strong writing and editing skills.
